This book mainly focuses on popular culture and our poor digital habits. But, don’t let the lightness of the title and content fool you- there are a few heavier themes buried in the lighter stuff. Luvvie Ajayi not only deals with online trolls and oversharing on social media, but also with race and identity. She has a unique perspective and doesn’t shy away from judging everyone - including herself. Be ready, nobody is safe. (Published by Henry Holt and Co.)

This book is mostly silly and light reading, but it did make me think about all the ways I have made the mistakes she writes about. Whoopsie, guess we can all work on being a bit better. So, when I saw Speak of the Devil I knew it was the right partner to this truth speaking guide.
